January doesn’t need another list of resolutions.

What I see every day in clinic is not a lack of willpower — it’s women who have spent years pushing through, minimising symptoms, and quietly carrying shame about what their bodies are doing.

So this year, rather than asking “What are my goals?”, I’d love us to ask a different question: What are we leaving behind?

We’re leaving behind:

  • Shame — about symptoms that are common, biological, and real

  • “Just push through it” mentality — when your body is clearly asking for support

  • Putting up with it — pain, exhaustion, brain fog, low mood, disrupted sleep are not things you simply have to tolerate

Midlife isn’t a failure of resilience. It’s a change in physiology — and it deserves informed, compassionate care.

That’s why this community exists.
