The Metluma Edit from Dr Nic: How to protect your midlife brain

4 minute read

If you’re reading this on your phone between a million tabs, emails and “Mum, where’s my…?”, take a breath with me for a moment.

As the seasons change, I’ve been noticing how chaotic the world feels – and how much my patients (and I) are craving a different pace.

Lately I’ve been looking to nature as my guide. Nature doesn’t rush growth; it follows simple, repeatable patterns, and women’s midlife health is no different. When peri-/menopause, work and family all collide, our job at Metluma is to help you find those small, realistic habits that actually shift your mood, sleep, energy and long‑term health.

As you scroll, I’d love you to think about one simple pattern to repeat this week– maybe a short walk, booking a Metluma follow up, or forwarding this to a friend who needs to know she’s not alone.

Over time, those tiny actions can create something surprisingly beautiful.

Speaking of seasonal change, things are changing at Metluma – in the best way.

As we continue to grow (thanks to all your referrals!), continuity of care remains something we pride ourselves on.

We’re launching a new membership subscription soon that will guarantee you can continue your care with us, on your schedule.

Watch this space for an EOFY offering – we’ll be giving our community 13 months of access for the price of 12 to ensure you can lock in your continuity of care for the year ahead.

Warmest,

Dr Nic, Specialised GP

We’re proud to launch our new Metluma web app!

Until now, different parts of your Metluma support — your UMA40, MPlan, and chat — have lived in separate places. That changes today.

The new Metluma app is live at app.metluma.com, and it brings everything together in one place:

✓ UMA40 tracking

✓ MPlan access and management

✓ In-app chat with the Metluma team

✓ All your usual support resources

We also have a full FAQ guide online to help with this process. The whole setup takes less than five minutes.
